Signal Processing and Computing for Communications (SPCC) TC Student Challenge and Video Contest:
The IEEE Signal Processing and Computing for Communications (SPCC) technical committee (TC) calls for participation in a contest for student teams that involves:
- innovative ideas and proposals to provide an answer to a technical challenge, to be chosen from a set of possible proposed ones
- and the preparation of a video to present the proposal.

We’re excited to announce the winners of the SPCC-TC Student Challenge and Video Contest: Yike Xie, Dong Wang, Xin Wei, and Qiaoran Jia from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC)!
The team tackled Question 4 on integrating reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs) for energy-efficient 6G networks. They presented a solution using RSRP-based channel estimation and blind beamforming, demonstrating promising simulation results.
